Description

Owing to the success of the controversial “The Da Vinci Code” book by Dan Brown, Paris has become even a more popular tourist destination.
All along your tour you will visit different places and monuments of Paris starting from the Ritz hotel.
The Hôtel Ritz is a grand palatial hotel in the heart of Paris, the 1st arrondissement. The hotel, which today has 159 rooms, was founded by the Swiss hotelier, César Ritz, in collaboration with the chef Auguste Escoffier in 1898.
Be sure to stop by the famous Comedie–Francaise as this is the place where you can start following the Arago Rose Line or Paris Meridian that is controversially dealt with by Dan Brown. The Comédie-Française or Théâtre-Français is one of the few state theaters in France. It is the only state theater to have its own troupe of actors.
The Palais-Royal, originally called the Palais-Cardinal, is a palace and an associated garden located in the 1st arrondissement of Paris. Facing the Place du Palais-Royal, it stands opposite the north wing of the Louvre, and its famous forecourt, screened with columns and, since 1986, containing Daniel Buren’s site-specific art-piece, Les Deux Plateaux, known as Les Colonnes de Buren.
The Musée du Louvre is one of the world’s largest museums, the most visited museum in the world, and a historic monument. The museum is housed in the Louvre Palace (Palais du Louvre) which began as a fortress built in the late 12th century under Philip II.
Even if Pont des Arts Bridge is not directly touched on by Dan Brown in his novel, it is en route to the next stop of the tour. Here you can enjoy the beautiful sight of the River Seine, the Ile de la Cite, and the stunning view of The Louvre Museum.
The Saint-Sulpice Church is the second largest Roman Catholic church in Paris. Saint Sulpicius, patron of the church, was a 7th-century bishop of Bourges, renowned for his godliness and confrontation with the dictatorship of the Merovingian kings.
